You get what you pay for. The laser pointer worked and the included batteries were fine, but I found that if you leave the batteries in, the pointer drains them in the span of 4 or 5 hours. Overall, it worked great for playing with my cats, but if you want something for a presentation that won't fail you, this might not be the one to buy.
