Based on the other reviews it seems kind of random what the actual product you get here is. Some come with boxes (mine did not), some have buttons that stay on when pressed (mine did not), some people get webcams (I did not)...however, at $2 this was totally worth the price for me. I had a momentary freak out when I got it because it didn't work, but then I realized that it doesn't come with batteries and I needed to put two AAAs in there. Like other reviewers mentioned, there are no instructions or anything, so here, I'll save you two seconds: negative ends go in first.

This is my 5mw red laser from Amazon.com Upon Opening the laser I found excellent packaging care and a great durable case for the diode. I really liked the way it looked and felt finally something that wont break after opening. (seeing most items priced $4 break instantly) but then the lasers little hook for your pants or pocket snapped off and exposed the diode. So now it is harmful for eyes (its on the handle is exposed) and very dissapointing.
