I bought this because of the price...I had seen the violet pointers advertised but they were always to expensive. When I saw the economical price on Amazon I thought I would give it a shot. I was cautiously optimistic when I received the product. However, after using the item I was pleasantly surprised. The pointer was well made and extremely durable. I would recommend this if pointer if you want the violet color.

I paid extra for the shipping and received it within three days. That is the only good thing about this particular device. From the first day, the beam was never really "focused" or sharp. Within a few hours or maybe four uses, the beam was really out of focus. I have other pointers, red and green, which operate without any difficulties. There is no way to adjust the beam, as others have a screw off top and an adjuster which this one does not. Could be only this particular one was defective ( which is my luck of getting the only one ), but the old saying is probably true here. You get what you pay for.
