I purchased this for my dogs and cats to chase. I had an old laser pointer that took watch batteries that was not very long lasting. THIS laser pointer puts that one to shame! It is bright and well built and I love that I can use AAA batteries when I have gotten to the end of battery life which may be soon because I can barely put it down!

This thing rocks. We've had so much fun with all of the patterns as well as the straight beam. The patterns not only work well inside but will cover the ground of our entire back yard. The only knock against this laser would be that it tends to burn batteries quickly. Or maybe we're just using it too much. :)
